Practice Honour
Mary maneuvered her shopping trolley to join the queue in the grocery store. In front of her was a mother and her little daughter of 5 or 6 years. The Mother started to load the shopping onto the conveyor belt and the little girl reach in to the trolley to help. She grabbed a carton of eggs and as she lifted them out, they slipped from her grasp and fell to the floor. Eggs oozed from the broken carton.
'What did you do that for? Her Mother barked. 'Can you not do anything right? I knew I should have just left you at home. Just stand there and do not touch anything else.'
The little girl looked at the mess she has made on the floor with the broken eggs. Mary felt her pain. If that was how her Mother treated her in public, what was it like at home. She reached over to the lady on the cash register and asked for some paper towels.
'Don't worry, it was an accident,' Mary said to the hurt little girl, 'I saw you trying to help. That was kind of you.'
The Mother muttered something under her breath, but the little girl's face lit up.
'Could I help you?' She shyly asked Mary. 'Of course,' Mary said as she showed her how to pick up the slippery eggs, and the little girl smiled again.
Mary could only hope that as the Mother and daughter left the shops that day, that the little girl would not always be treated like that.
Imagine for a second how the world would be transformed if every man, woman and child showed honour to others.
To honour is to to hold in high respect, to revere, to show a courteous regard for, to treat someone else like they are a treasured possession, even if they do not feel like it.
Look around your world today and make a conscious decision that you are going to honour and respect those around you, it will make life so much easier!

The Real You Women's Conference Oct 5th - 6th 2007
For the girl that has ever looked in the mirror and wished for longer hair, bigger lips, smaller ears, a thinner figure, whiter teeth, wider eyes, better make up, a prettier smile........this is for you!!
Have you ever noticed when you walk down Shop Street, or Grafton Street or any high street for that matter!? that girls all tend to dress the same? Yes there are differences of course in styles, colours, shapes etc, but everyone is trying to be someone else, trying to look like someone else, trying to fit into a mould. And do you know what the ironic thing is? You are best at being you, not being your sister, your best friend, the girl from the Rimmel advert or new TV soap.
You were made YOU and guess what? You are amazing, you are unique, you are priceless, you are treasured, you were designed, not just thrown together, you are a masterpiece. You were not an accident. You are here at this time for a reason. You are best at being you. Do not try and be anyone else, do not try and fit into a mould that was never made for you.
And sure nobody is perfect, we all have made wrong decisions and mistakes, but do not focus on them. Focus on the fact that YOU are amazing, not the person beside you, you're husband, cat, dog or best friend. YOU are amazing. Learn to like yourself and life will be so much better.
Embrace what you have. You may want a smaller figure, different family, prettier smile, and while you can change some things, others you just have to learn to accept and embrace.
Be You, because you are Beautiful.
This is what this whole conference is about. It is to inspire you to be the amazing person that God created you to be.
Friday and Saturday night 7:30pm & Saturday morning 11am and 12am.

Quote of the Week
Have you been called to go out on a limb for God? You can bet it
won't be easy. Limb-climbing has never been easy. Ask Joseph.
Or, better yet, ask Jesus. He knows better than anyone the cost
of hanging on a tree.

Romanian Missions Trip
During the summer 2007, Maria, Julia and Steve set off to Romania with a van filled with everything they had been given for their trip. This included food, clothes, blankets, crutches and much more. They travelled to different orphanges and villages giving the people what they had brought. many of the families live in very small houses, maybe just one room with a bed and a cooker and it house 2 parents and maybe 4-5 children. one lady invited them in for dinner in an old pigsty that had been convernted into their house.
'This little girl lives on the street and the marks on her face are either rat bites or impetigo. The poverty was something I has never seen before. I have retuned to Ireland with a new gratefullness of all that have and all I take for granted on a daily basis.'

Do I Need To Set Goals To Be Successful?
1. What is Goal Setting?
Goal setting is a process that helps you get clear on what you want, make an action plan to help you get there, launch into action, and persist until you reach your destination or find a better one.
Earl Nightingale put it this way, "People with goals succeed because they know where they are going. It's as simple as that."
2. Why Personal Goal Setting Works.
The first ingredient necessary for success is that you have to decide exactly what it is that you want. This is where many people stumble. They never decide what it is that they really want in life.
Once you have decided what it is that you want, the second ingredient is to determine the price you have to pay to get what you want, and then resolve to pay that price by establishing your priorities and getting to work. Many who get past the first ingredient never apply the second one. They don't understand that you have to pay the price in full before you can claim your prize. Goal Setting is a process that helps you focus your time and energy on your targets through careful and deliberate planning.
3. What is a Goal?
A goal is a well-defined target that gives you clarity, direction, motivation, and focus. Goals are tools that help you to make a positive change in your life. They eventually help form a new habit or change an existing habit.
Goals are the stepping stones to success. Look at your life today, decide what you want and then begin to make goals that will help you to get there.

How To Face The Fear Of The Unknown
So you are facing the unknown in your life and fear is knocking at your door. Welcome to first step in success. Everyone that has ever succeeded in life has felt the same thing. As a matter of fact, we have all felt it on more then one occasion. So how do you deal with it? Here are 3 keys to facing the fear of the unknown.
1. Do your due diligence.
Here are the basics. You are feeling fear because there is some sort of risk involved with what you are doing. Risk isn’t a bad thing if you know how to handle it. The first thing you always need to do is your due diligence. Don’t go into a situation blindly. Just because it may seem like a good deal on the outside doesn’t mean that it is. Just by knowing what you are dealing with can help you overcome fear.
2. Trust yourself.
Once you have done your due diligence so that you can make an informed decision, you have to learn to trust your instincts. If you find that the risk involved is one that you are able to handle, don’t start to doubt yourself. If you doubt yourself you will tend to make wrong decisions and choices.
3. Ask someone who knows.
You have probably heard the saying that there is nothing new under the sun. Well guess what? You aren’t the first one to face the fear of the unknown. One of the best things that you can do is ask for help from someone that has been down the same road that you are on right now. Sometimes all you need is a little advice from someone that has overcome their fear and come out the other side successfully.
